공연장과 집회현장, 온라인 공간을 가리지 않고 사회적 의제에 대해 발언하는 한국의 흔치 않은 랩 아티스트 제리케이(JERRY.K)가 새 EP ‘RED QUEEN THEORY’를 발표한다. ‘이상한 나라의 앨리스’ 속편에 등장하는 붉은 여왕의 말 “여기선 같은 자리를 지키기 위해서 온 힘을 다해 뛰어야 해”에서 유래한 ‘붉은 여왕 가설’을 차용한 이 앨범은, 행복하기 위해 끝없이 싸우는 이들에 연대하고 (PARADE, I WANT YA, TAKE MY HAND), 변화하는 세계에 도태되지 않기 위해 노력하는 이들을 긍정하는 노래들(CLICHÉ, NICE VIBE)로 채워졌다.
소녀시대 출신인 티파니 영(Tiffany Young)의 첫 글로벌 싱글 ‘Over My Skin’을 프로듀스한 남아공 출신의 뮤지션 Khwezi가 전곡 프로듀서로 참여하였으며, 데이즈얼라이브와 꾸준히 좋은 호흡을 보여주는 띠오리아(theoria.)가 믹싱/ 마스터링 엔지니어로 함께했다.
